well i carry this box to its proper place

on novmber third, two thousand and nine, i will accomplish a life goal.

i will see brand new in concert.

i am skipping two days of class, convinced my loving boyfriend to drive three hours down to pick me up, then three hours back up, then driving me all the way back down again and driving himself all the way back up on day two.

its a general admission ticket. and i am showing up to the venue approximately two hours in advance. dressed as a zombie.

because true happiness comes from being exactly who you are and doing what you love.

my friend, the make up artist, is going to paint me up as the best in rotten flesh. complete with fake blood and my usual zombie personality, my craving for human flesh, and my anticipation for hearing the new album “daisy” performed live will make for one of the most spectacular experiences of my life.
